The Ruvalcaba Quartet, which takes its name from one of the Mexican violinists and composers most involved in chamber music in Mexico: Higinio Ruvalcaba (1905-1976). The quartet is made up of young Mexican talents graduated from the most prestigious musical institutions in the country, it has a wide repertoire that covers different periods and musical styles, distinguished by a special emphasis on the Mexican and Latin American repertoire. In its career, the quartet has performed in some of the most important venues in the country such as the Manuel M. Ponce Hall of the Fine Arts Theater, the Carlos Chavez Hall, the Gothic Chapel, the National Museum of Art (MUNAL), and the Cloister of Sor Juana. , San Pablo Cultural Center, among others.
