Originally from Tlaquepaque, Jalisco. He studied at the music school of the University of Guadalajara with teachers Francisco Orozco and Marco Antonio Verdín. Subsequently, he completed a diploma in foundation, analysis and musical interpretation with a specialty in orchestra conducting at the University of Colima and later studied a degree in music with a specialty in orchestra conducting at said University. He participated in the National Meeting of Orchestra Directors, in the conducting master courses with the Symphony of the State of Mexico, Xalapa and OSUANL and in the second national competition for orchestra directors organized by AMOS (Mexican Association of Symphony Orchestras). He has had as teachers outstanding directors such as José Guadalupe Flores, Francisco Savín, Enrique Bátiz and Héctor Guzmán. He worked as guest conductor of the Philharmonic Orchestra of the State of Querétaro, and in 2008 he participated as assistant conductor of the world premiere of the Opera Santa Anna with libretto by Carlos Fuentes and music by José María Vitier. From 2008 to 2010 he was assistant conductor of the Jalisco Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2012 he participated in the conducting course given by Maestro Kenneth Kiesler, conducting the Carlos Chávez Symphony Orchestra and in 2013 in the Fernando Ávila Navarro course, conducting the Xalapa Chamber Orchestra. He has directed prominent soloists such as Jorge Federico Osorio, Fernando de la Mora, Grace Echauri, Lourdes Ambríz, Guadalupe Pineda, among others.
